Bitbus Characteristics

The SIO07 offers a Bitbus interface via a two D-Sub connectors. Both are internally connected, as defined by the Bitbus standard.

The sender of the Bitbus is disabled, so the SIO07 only monitors the bus traffic without affecting the bus.

Serial Interface Characteristics

The SIO07 offers a serial interface with RS232 or RS485-full-duplex or RS485-half-duplex via a 9-pin D-Sub connector.

  • Baud rates up to 460800 baud
  • Hardware flow control lines available in RS232 mode
